Jumbled Thoughts

another big catch up post
Well, it's been a hell of a month so far, filled with a bunch of ups and downs. Instead of detaling every litte thing and causing me to go insane thinking so much, I'll just list the ups and downs. Downs first to get them over with:

* I can't seem to make any headway this month with bills and similar finances. However, I do have plans mapped out for recovery that should hopefully go well
* Last night pulling out of my driveway, I managed to hit a car parked across the street. Misestimation and a small road did not mix well. While the hit wasn't that bad and only minimal damage was made, it's something I really do not need right now and just adds on the list of why this year sucks for me. Everytime I seem to get a hold of things or something is going well, something bad has to happen to just take it away. >.< I can't wait until I'm out of this giant fucking rut in my life.
* My boss is being moved to a different store. I worked with him for almost 4 years now and we've been pretty close, so seeing him go is pretty sad and is going to make the next couple of weeks of work interesting not knowing who will be running the store and when they will be starting.

Now that that's over with and with minimal bitching and moaning ^^;;; time for the ups:

* I'm in the new place and it's great. So much bigger and better than my last one. I do miss living with Hugh and Mike though, but I'm getting along well with Sean, Greg, and Chris H right now. Chris A won't be moving in for a couple more weeks, I really should finish up my room and get my stuff out of his before he get's here. ^^;;;
* I've got a new desk. At Staples (where Chris H works) there were a bunch of desks that were found to be slightly warped. However, for some odd reason, one was marked as damaged (the first one that a customer found to be warped), so Chris took it before it got thrown out and gave it to me. You can barely notice the warp at all. It's so much nicer than my other desk. ^_^
* Here's the big one, the one that's been keeping me sane and everything since it's so good. A couple of weeks ago, I somehow got myself a girlfriend. ^__^ Her name is Kait and I've known her for a couple years at school with the DDR Club. We share some interests and our personalities seem to click as well. Despite other things, these past few weeks have been the best ever and I don't think I could be any happier being with her. ^_^
