Jumbled Thoughts

nice past few days
This past week has had its ups and downs, thankfully more ups then downs, with the only big down being slightly sick with a cold and sore throat, and even that's not too bad since it hasn't effected my everyday stuff. Thursday was kind of messed up, since what was planned for the day off and what really happened were two completely different sceneriaos. The plan, meet Heather (shift manager) and Brian (her husband) at the mall when they got out of work to look for cars at a couple of friends they have who are dealers. Also, instead of having a normal DDR session this week, the DDR club was going to go to the mall in the evening. So that was the plan, kill some time, go look at cars, then go to the mall to play DDR with the rest of the club. So on Thursday morning I somehow got up early, so I decided to take a bus to Carousel Mall to kill some time before going to meet them at Great Northern Mall. The bus just gets to Syracuse when Heather calls my cell from the bell telling me that they can't take me that night since she did something to her hand and needed to go get an x-ray done and such or something of the sort. So that was kind of a downer, since the only reason I even went down to Syracuse was to kill time, I'd have rather stayed home and gotten stuff done, it'd would've been great if she called me earilier. However, some good did come out of the bad, since I checked out prices of car radio decks and satellite radio at Best Buy, and obviously play DDR. Only muffin and some guy I didn't know who it was was there (still don't know who it was ^^;;; ) so we rotated rounds between us and talked for a while. I was originally going to go home on the next bus, but I was caught up in the conversation when it was going to leave, so I stayed around until the bus that I was going to take up to GN to take back back to Oswego, but the bus got there earlier than I did. >.< However, to counteract this, I killed time at Best Buy and saw my old roommate Brandon working and talked to him until the next bus which was less than an hour later, and took it back up to Oswego. I kind of didn't feel like going down to GN with the DDR club since at that point I kind of wanted to just relax and get some stuff done, which I almost got away with since I got home about the same time they were going to leave campus. I say almost because they showed up at my door. No Smackdown watching this week, but like the rest of the day, it was counteracted with another positive. I'm happy that I ended up going, since I made two major accomplishments for me. I passed two songs on heavy doubles that I simply shouldn't have, bag and So Deep, two songs ranked really fricken hard (a 10 and a 9 footer respectively, though with speed mods bag would probably be considered a hard 9 like So Deep). I was pretty much dead after that, but couldn't have been happier. Twas an odd day altogether, but ended very nicely.

Since they couldn't take me Thursday as planned, Brain said they'd take me after work on Saturday. I had Steve's car like I normally do on Saturdays, visited my mom for a bit before work, and was actually able to get out of work early to go look at cars. The guy they knew at the first place wasn't there, it looked like he went out to ride his motorcycle. We looked at the cars that he said would probably work for me and they were nice. Brian said he would take me back there on Monday, since I guess that's when he told the guy he'd be bringing me. Nothing wrong with another couple of days, but that wasn't the only place we went to. The next place they knew wasn't too bad, though I admit I liked the first place better. I told Brian I'd wait until Monday before doing anything since we'd be going after work then anyways. So tomorrow evening, it looks like I'll be buying a car from the first place, mainly because the cars there seemed nicer and it sounded like he'd do more to them before giving them to the buyer, and that I can pay half right them and then a small amout each week there. While I'd rather not make weekly payments, paying a small amout each week for a while works out a lot better for me than paying for a full car outright. I'd rather have some extra money now and stay fairly stable finicially, than completely drain my wallet now and have a fun time trying to recover. So tomorrow should be a good day, and I had my eye on a car there which will make my visit tomorrow that much easier. Plus the car is basically ready for the road, just needs to be washed and to be checked through. So if I buy tomorrow, it should be ready on Tuesday for me to drive. ^_^ I can't wait, and it's about fricken time.
