Jumbled Thoughts

actually doing well for once this year
The past few weeks between actual posts here have actually been pretty good minus an audit we had at work on Friday, but even that wasn't too bad. I've actually gotten my room cleaned up, which is always a hell of a task just because I let months go by between cleaning up. But that's it for that, since we move out in a couple months, so every Sunday from now on I'm going to make sure any clutter that starts up get's cleaned and start getting things more organized so they're easier to pack when the time comes. Also today finally got more shelf pegs for my bookcases so I finally have that third shelf up again on the smaller one and will hopefully find a shelf that fits in my bigger one for a fourth shelf on it. And I got the genius idea to move Kere's mini-fridge that's been on the porch all this time up to my room to store soda and beer in without crowding up the main fridge downstairs. Score points for me for coming up with this great thought with less than two months left here. -_-;; Onto other things, the past couple weeks I've been working on our guild site, and have finally completed FightingMongooses.com. This site is by far the best code I've ever done. It has the normal phpBB forum software, great picture gallery software, and my own code for the other site sections, all integrated with each other so only one account is needed for all those things, and only guild members get to be able to store character info and add links on the site. Kev and I worked on the graphics (mostly him, I just provided input and ideas along the way), and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Now if guild members would come and start using the site, that would be fucking awesome, if any of you guys see this, go to the damn site already! >.< And last off, Wednesday may be the magical day in my life, the day I might finally get a car. I'm heading to a dealer's auction then with one of Casey's friends who's a dealer, and if all goes well, I'll be driving to places on my own by the end of the day. I swear I won't be able to handle myself for at least a week. Considering that for years the only way I've gotten around has either been by bus, getting a ride, or borrowing a car if I get so lucky to do so. Having my own will be such a shock to my system and I can't wait for it. ^_^
