12:13a	heads are gonna roll Short post for tonight, it appears all but one of my Xbox games have magically disappeared off the rack in the livingroom. I noticed it out of the corner of my eye right after getting home from work Monday evening, but didn't take much consideration about it since Monday is $0.10 wing night at Cheap Seats with the purchase of a pitcher, and that a few of us go there weekly I learned recentally. Just me and kev this week, but more next week with everyone back. Anyways, I was too much in a rush when I got home and not in a state to deal with it after the bar. Today/Tuesday I asked around about the games, housemates don't know, checked with Jeff back at the parents' and he doesn't know. So basically it appears that someone randomly walked in the house and took them, which we think might be the kids next door, and I damn well will follow up on that assumption since they seem to like causing trouble but can't prove they did it yet. All I know is that those games better reappear soon, or there will be massive hell to pay. >. Current Mood: pissed off (Comment on this)
10:41p	making fun of idiots is fun So I open my e-mail today, and there's an obvious spam in there that didn't get filtered by Outlook. These things are usually fun but I only open them if they're addressed right to my address, and this particluar piece was. So I opened it and got a nice laugh out of all the mistakes in it, check it out (all in italics): Dear Sir/Madam, How are you today? And wouldn't you at least try to make things look somewhat professional. Come on, an extra .com at the end of the site URL the second time it appears, over generalized "info" on what they want, and a complete failur to notice that jack shit is advertised on my domain. That's one of the big reasons that I got the domain, to PREVENT ads. All while leaving an address and phone numbers in case someone actually takes them seriously. -_-;;; Idiots need not to be censored, so I'll keep that info up. Onto other fun stuff regarding making fun of idiots, I have come across a great site, Acts of Gord. This site is essentially the tales of a video game store owner between him and his many customers. This has been the funniest stuff I've read in a long time, and I have a new (or finally a) goal in life. Either start my own gaming store so I can live all these great moments and more, or work for this store. I'd fit in perfect, unlike in either of my jobs where I have a code to work by set by corporations that can easily let me go if I decide to be a smartass, in this independent store setting where I would be free to do this kind of stuff. Being a smartass if customers provoked it, showing them I'm not a moron and know excatly what I'm doing, that is for me. Anyways, I recommend that site for any gamer, or anyone who works in customer service. You'll get a great laugh and be suprised that people can be as stupid as you see in those stories.
