Jumbled Thoughts

The past couple of days have been pretty nice. I had yesterday off from both jobs, which meant I got to enjoy Wednesday night to its fullest extent. It started off with kev stopping in and seeing if I wanted to go to a bar with him for beer and wings, so we did. It was my first time in a bar and not doing a 21st birthday run, which was nice. We watched a couple college basketball games (they had TVs all around) and talked, pretty fun, and I guess him and a few others go to that bar every Monday night, so I'm probably going to join the crew for that. Then it was a night of drinking at Kev's with a bunch of people over there too. It was nice not having to worry about having too much and even having to go home. I eventually passed out on the futon about 4:30. I got up a little before noon but no one was awake except for Elena, so we talked for a while, and she eventually borrowed Cassie's car and bought us all breakfast. She went to the new gas station in town that's supposed to be really good, and it was, since she got some bagels, dougnuts, cereal,milk, and orange juice for only about $12. Not bad at all, and it was nice to have an actual breakfast for once. I eventually went home, a bit later than I had hoped, but still with lots of time left in the day. The cool thing was, it was fucking gourgeous yesterday. It was spring, after I took a shower I wore shorts and a t-shirt all day, which was great. I would wear shorts on a normal basis, but too many people get on me about it to make it worth it. So being able to and not get shit was nice. I was planning to get a comparison done for SMU, but the DVD player in my room was being a bitch. Earilier this week, I got the last Sailormoon R Region 2 DVD + box, and wanted to check the DVD out real quick. Well, the DVD player I bought over a year ago since I saw there was a way to region hack it suddendly didn't have a way to region hack it, and I spent a good hour or so looking for a way to find a possible way with a model made in a similar way, only to not have it work. >.< So I gave up and changed my DVD burner to region 2 to check it out and liked it. So until I get either a region free player or a player that can be region hacked, I think I'm going to use my DVD-ROM to play my R2s and just swap out my CD burner and that since I don't want to take out the DVD burner. I went grocery shopping since I finally had some money to and it was nice enough to walk there and back. The night was nice and calm after that, and I had finally actually made my own dinner (not counting instant food siuch as ramen or mac and cheese) for the first time in months.

Work was uneventful for today, and I haven't really gone anywhere yet tonight. Probably won't since I have work in the morning and I've been out a few nights this week already. Not to mention I'm doing laundry too. Talked to Hugh for a good while about stuff, it appears that Kere doesn't plan to live up here in Oswego again, but at least she's paying her part of the rent and some of the bills so it's not too bad. We were thinking of asking Mike's friend Jeff if he wanted to stay up here for the final months, so I hope that something like that can work out. Kere won't have any ties left to this town, and better yet, the two of us haven't seen Jeff in a while (thanx to Mike being made to work on weekends and him hitting a deer a couple weeks ago but he has another car now) and we all get along great together, and we know he won't screw us over or anything of the sort. So I hope something works out for it to happen.
