Yay for parties ^_^ The party at Kev's Friday night was a lot of fun. Bunch of people there, various things going on at once, it's a great place to have lots of people come to. A couple people got sick, but that didn't take too much away from the good night. I was able to beg Smalls for a ride home from work Saturday night (was closing and since I didn't have to work Sunday, REALLY wanted to get back to Oswego) which was just plain awesome. Him and Sean watched a movie and I met them there when I got out of work and they brought me home. We had a nice little get together there to finish off the leftovers from the night before. Steve ended up getting really drunk, at one point bolting across the street but falling on his face in the road after going down the hill to the street. It was funny as hell, and he didn't even have any marks. It was a great couple nights there and I met a bunch of new people.
Sunday I basically just slept and relaxed, Monday I worked and then went to my parent's for the night. I didn't really want to, but I was scheduled to work after the last bus and since I'm not working 5 - 6 day weeks yet, I don't want to try to cut days shorter, even by an hour, yet, for the sake of the bus. It's nice to go back to their place and talk now and then though, but it's just I really have nothing to do there because since I moved here, all my fun stuff came with me. I was going to walk back to the mall earilier today (yesterday technically) to catch Mike before he drive home, but Dad gave me a ride, and then Mike gave me a ride back home when he was done with work.
All I've pretty much done since coming home is talk to Hugh and watch Adult Swim. I must say, I love Case Closed (aka Decetive Conan). I mean, really love, like it's already jumped damn near the top of my favorite anime list. When I first started watching it, I was beginning to love it as I enjoyed mystery shows and books as a kid. I began to love it to a point where I didn't want to miss it if at all possible. When I was at Kyle and Andy's apartment in B'ville a few weeks ago and learned they had no cable, I walked from B'ville to the mall later that day to take the bus home to be sure I saw it at home. Then the episode on Monday night was just plain awesome and had the show jump from "must see" to "must see or someone dies" state. I'm definetly going to be getting the DVDs even if I can't afford them as they come out.
